Veterinary Health Advocate
Humans are busy, and our emotional support systems need their own check-ups so they can continue supporting us. I offer a service where I can schedule your pet’s appointment at their regular veterinarian, drive them to and from the appointment, and make sure you get all the information you need to continue their care. I work to accommodate the human. You can video chat or phone in live to talk with the doctor; send me messages back and forth during an appointment via text; or, just wait for me to send a summary after. This is for non-emergency care only!
Hourly rate
Standard Vet Appointment
I charge an hourly rate of $55/ hour. The time charged starts at pick-up from your house, and ends at drop-off at your house. If your fur baby is already in my home for Camp Couch Potato, the time charged starts at departure from my home, and ends when we return back to my home.
Dental or Surgical Appointment
I charge an hourly rate of $55/ hour. The time charged works a little bit differently, since usually there is a period where the animal is held by the veterinary office and I can be on-call at home. The time charged starts at pick-up from your house, and pauses once your baby is checked in at the vet and I can leave. The time charged resumes when I have to depart from my home to pick up the baby at the vet, and ends once I have either returned the animal to your home, or back to Camp Couch Potato.
Medication Pickup
If medication needs to be picked up from a pharmacy that is not within the veterinarian’s office, I can help. I charge $20 for pharmacy pickup.
